Hi, Ferdy.
The following message popped up when I login to my website dashboard:
“The following themes have new versions available. Check the ones you want to update and then click “Update Themes”.
Please Note: Any customizations you have made to theme files will be lost. Please consider using child themes for modifications.
Can you please talk o do a video about “child theme”?
I am using OceanWP (free version)
Thank you,
John

could not down load your free template pack as the page is not responsive. Did not get the mail in my mail box for confirmation.

Hey Ferdy,
Currently, following along with you on building ecommerce sight and ready for the free templates.
Ferdy
Hi Robyn! Keep following along – you’re doing great! ???? The templates should be in the YouTube video description. Enjoy!
Stian
Hi,
Would love to hear from you if this method is outdated now or not, seeing as this was 6 years ago and also the Envato Elements plugin has not been updated for 7 months as of right now (July 4th 2025). I’m sure there are better alternatives in todays day and age?
Ferdy
Hi Stian! Great spot – yes, that video is from 2019 and things have changed. The Envato Elements plugin still exists but the free offering has shrunk. Better alternatives now: Crocoblock (Elementor), Divi Cloud (Divi), or the built-in Template Kits in Elementor Pro. I’ll cover updated options in future tutorials! ????
